  • Individual Therapy

Have you wondered if therapy is right for you? Therapy is for everyone, it's not just for those experiencing extreme challenges or crisis situations.

You don’t have to wait until it gets “that bad”.

Our individual sessions are approached with the understanding that you are the expert of your own life. Take care of yourself, invest in yourself, and gain a deeper understanding of who you are, why you function and behave the way you do and let's work together to crush your goals.

Desiree has chosen to specialize in areas in which she truly excels. When you choose to work with her you can trust that her warmth, compassion and expertise will meet your unique needs.

  • Teen Therapy

Adolescence is a transitional time of significant physical, emotional, social changes and academic pressures. Therapy helps teens learn problem-solving techniques and decision-making skills to make informed choices and navigate complex situations.

Teens often face difficulties in effectively expressing their thoughts and emotions. In therapy we focus on teaching skills for teens to be able to process and articulate their emotions.

By fostering healthy communication and emotional expression, our goal is to bridge the gap between teens and their families. With the ultimate goal being able to create an environment where teens feel confident, supported, and equipped to lean on their support system during times of need.

“If we don’t listen to the parts of ourselves trying to get our attention, they get louder. Making space to be with your emotions promotes your ability to heal”

  • Depression can consist of persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and a lack of interest or pleasure in activities once enjoyed. It can lead to physical symptoms such as changes in appetite and sleep patterns, fatigue, and difficulty concentrating.

  • Difficulties in managing and controlling one's emotional responses to various situations. You may struggle to control the intensity or duration of your emotions, leading to emotional outbursts, mood swings, or emotional numbing. Individuals with low self-esteem often experience feelings of inadequacy, self-doubt, and self-criticism, which can significantly impact their confidence, decision-making, and overall well-being. Therapy and can help individuals address these issues, build a healthier self-image, and develop a more positive sense of self-worth.
